Choosing equipment and supplies for a "End of the World as We Know it" scenario can be a bit daunting. We have grown up in an age of cheap, disposable items. Whether it be what boots to buy or which fishing pole to choose, when purchasing our items we have to go with the presumption that what ever we buy today will have to last us a lifetime. For the generations before us, this was not a problem. Items we mostly hand-made and of a very high quality. So basically, we have to shop like our Grandparents. Getting only what is needed and not being concerned about fad or fashion, but durability.
If you've found your way to this website, you're familiar with some of what is available. With my experience as a long-time Prepper and a United States Army Ranger, I will try to help sort through some of these items and help you find quality survival tools and supplies to purchase.
